An opportunity has arisen for an experienced VAT Assistant Manager to undertake a position in the London office.
Duties include providing VAT advice to charities and Not-For-Profit clients as well as a number of OMB’s in other sectors, including property.
The role in brief:
· Writing letters to HMRC on behalf of clients.
· Carrying out due diligence exercises as well as VAT reviews and health checks.
· Assisting the Manager with the VAT workload across the office.
· Contributing to technical solutions to business matters.
· Assisting with the management and development of junior staff on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications/Experience:
· CTA (VAT route) or AIIT qualified or interested in working towards obtaining this professional qualification.
· Experience of working in professional practice and undertaking VAT issues.
· Experience of working in a client facing advisory capacity.
